The Indicator – Made back in 2012 and back as an instant classic. The Indicator Low has since become a staple in the Emerica line with no slowing down. Some things really do get better with age.
Soft and comfortable!
All u gotta do is put a nice lil kushy insole in them joints and i promise u ur not gonna be looking for any other shoe 💙🤠
Great shoes. First pair of low top shoes Ive had in a while. I like to wear my shoes tight, and that, along with repeated stressing, is causing the exterior of the shoe to separate, but it's only an aesthetic problem, the shoes still skate fine. Other than that, would definitely recommend.
Dang, Super Duper!❤💛🖤💚
For some canvas, they last a long time. Ive been skating the white and gum canvas for about a week, no signs of rippage around the ollie area. Its weird to flick at first in them but im getting used to them. Amazing boardfeel.
They need to make a indicator G6
Shoes are super comfy, first thing i noticed when i put em on, they hold up quite well as the canvas is strong and the molding around the toe is strong too. They’re also just tight and look good. Got these for the low and couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
I took off a star because of the thin insoles in these things, with that being said I've had 4 pairs of these and I'm about to buy a 5th because every other aspect is perfect. They're durable, look sick, board feel is amazing. After I throw an old g6 insole in there, they are the best shoes I've skated in a loooong time. Get some
Wow these shoes are amazing. The board feel is great, incredibly comfortable. I have been doing very "flick heavy" tricks such as varial and treflips, and after a month of owning these I still havent gotten through the white suede lining the bottom of the shoe...
the bottom of the shoes wear out a little bit quicker than the toe cap. which is fine until when the laces are tied tight it had a clown shoe effect and doesn’t provide much impact support.. especially where the heel rests; tends to make a huge indent in the shoe. still love them tho and buy them.
i love how these shoes look and flick, but the insole doesn't protect my feet as much as i want them to
Best price, fit true to size, get complimented by girls with glasses at coffee shops all the time. Keep these forever
Best shoe for kickflips!!
Shoes skate great. Break in easy and really last. One problem with it is the sole loses the tread to easily.
A little bummed that they didn't come with a backup pair of laces. Other than that, solid-ass product.
These are probably the most comfortable sneakers I’ve worn in ages—and that's coming from someone with all sorts of foot pain and arch issues. Highly recommended!
Best board feel, perfect for my wider feet. Only downside is the laces break super fast. I go through like one a sesh. Would be nice to get an extra pair of laces or two in the box but other than that, this is the best shoe. I’m on my 5th pair. I hope they stick around for good this time!
I love to alter shoes. Cut them down, sew on an ollie patch or eyelet covers, whatever. After finally getting these bad boys broken in the only thing I wanted to do to them was trim some length off the tongue.
Love this shoe and this company. Super comfy and has insane utility. Durable, reliable, and dope! Emerica for life!
Great price point shoe, arguably the best team shoe.
BEST shoe!! Best board feel. They last surprisingly long for the style and minimalism. I’m on my 4th pair now. I hope they are around forever! The only thing that would make them better is if they came with extra laces. They tend to break laces pretty quickly, for me anyway. Extra laces in the box would be helpful!! Solid shoe, solid buy!!!
The cut of the shoe is a little broad, but other wise a solid shoe
What’s with these lil foamy insoles?!
Insanely stiff at first, but after a few runs through the taffy puller these bad boys are sick. Killer board feel and durable as all hell. Plus since they're synthetic I can run these guilt free and all the beard twirlers at the coffee shop think I'm cool.
LOVE THESE SHOES!! They're the best skate shoes I've had in a long time. Second best would be the Romero's. Super comfy and I land so much new stuff in them. They're my good luck shoes. Thank you Emerica for making so many fantastic different kinds of vegan skate shoes.
clean cut shoe. smooth and comfy right out of the box.
thanks for bringing it back! I missed it the time around!
Yall got the best shoes In da game
These have a longer break-in period than most shoes. Wear them around a bit before skating, as they can be a bit stiff, and the bottoms are kind of stiff. After that initial break-in, however, they're great shoes. Go vegan!
Great shoes! Would recomend them to anyone looking for a good pair of vegan skate shoes.
Believe it or not, I'm extremely picky with shoes... and also pretty frugal - it's a bad combination. A shoe without leather was a must for me which means I wanted a fairly big rubber Ollie pad... those criteria narrowed the search down by a lot - I tried Nike SB, Adidas SB, 10 different pairs of Vans, a pair of Globes and Circa AL50's... didn't like any of them.
Then the Emerica Indicator low came in the mail - I wear 8M (41 EU) in my vans, nike, converse and adidas - and so I had ordered them in 8M as well and they fit well but felt a little tight on the back of my heel... I stepped on my board and holy moly did I love the board feel right away, better than any of the shoes I tried on so far. That made me decide to wear them at home for a couple days and the heel got comfy right away, I went to skate them yesterday and without any further break in time loved them!
On a side note I'll say that I had to rough up the sole a little because it is a little fuzzy right out of the box (I learned this makes the import cheaper) I did it with some 120 grit sandpaper and it took literally 5 minutes.
I'll be ordering another pair before they sell out for good and PLEASE EMERICA consider making these again!!
Great shoe. Great price. It shipped in a day and got to me very fast. The shipping price made me the happiest, based on that along with everything else....I am ordering shoes from you again.
Maximum stoke dudes, for real! I've been shredding these hard and the toe cap is still holding up, only spot that is breaking down is near the laces but it ain't nothin but a thing. Dope shoes! 10 out of 10 would buy again
These are my favorite shoes ever!!! I wear a size 5 men's and a 7 in women's and they fit great!! I would love to see a more feminine color way I think you would have a lot of interest from women!!!
I NEED LIKE 50 PAIR OF THESE
Comfy and perfect for skating. Been skating Emerica's since the Marc Johnson's. The best skate shoes hands down.
I fucking love emerica,You guys got great product from shoes to your nice ass t shirts,Keep up the emerica life,Thank you guys so much for the coupon,Ill definitely shop from the best which is you guys, much love
The shoes are pretty unique and i love the look of the converse. There are pretty solid and good for skating.
These shoes are great. Like the toe cap, not too stiff not too soft. I'd say its a relatively true to size fit even when you put insoles in them. The insoles are not removable and are glued down pretty well. I was still about the rip them out and put my fp insoles with some work at it. This shoe has excellent board feel which is what I love about this shoe. Now the reason I didn't give this shoe 5 stars (this could be a deal breaker for some ppl) is because for some reason emerica thought it would be a good idea to put this weird felt like material at the bottom of the shoe. Yeah there is like a lint like layer that coats the bottom of the shoe. This layer makes the shoe very slippery to skate in at first. Once you break in the shoe tho and that 1st layer wears off the shoe becomes grippy. Once you skate in it for a few days to a week the shoe should be okay. Wish emerica would get rid of this. Oh and I do rip a lot of laces with these shoes the way the eyelets are placed, I recommend shoe gooing them. Other than that the shoe is great.
Almost indestructable (apart from the laces;) Wish i bought in bulk as i could happily wear these for the rest of my skateboarding days.
These shoes are great. I have overly wide feet and was concerned these would be narrow but they're just right! Shit hot!
Dude! Jcapote! So comfy. I sleep with them on my feets
Like I said on the others they our great shoes I give these a five star .
Emerica is much more than skate shoes. They symbolize raw skateboarding, the most radical that exists. A generation of skate rats was raised on emblematic tricks of epic proportions like Reynolds flick of the Hollywood 16, Greco's back nose blunt of the willshire rail and Kirchart's mind blowing kick FRONT 50 on a fucking handrail. We grew up praying that our mom's bought us the mj and the brown bling bling for Christmas. Just the image of the Reynolds 1 conjures the tangible memories; the absolute obsession with the color, kickflipping off of loading docks pretending that they are 10 stairs, the 411, i.e., and baker videos, the coolest older kids at the skatepark wearing them, and the the memory of progress and badass skate culture that these shoes represented. I have always loved the aesthetic of Emerica and will forever support anything that has 'Emerica' written on it, especially if Reynolds name is represented too. Many people love the rich history and the promising future of Emerica. Thank you. Also, tell Figgy to wear a shoe that fits his giant hobbit feet because the stories of his ingrown toenails disgust me.
I have messed up wide feet so finding the right shoe to skate in has always been a struggle. It is as if the Skateboard Lord himself sent this shoe to me from the cosmic realm of ultimate stoke! I'm not too keen on the fuzzy bottom part, but thankfully it can be sanded of with som mob grip fairly easily and then the soles grip is proper. Thanks for the second pressing! I bought an extra pair but please keep this one in the rotation for a while!
These shoes are indestructible , just like the Romero's I had before
