Emerica and Deathwish got together for an epic limited collaboration. What better shoe to do it with than Emerica's top selling shoe, the Indicator High. Snag a pair while you can.
Great shoes. I love the overall grungy, cyberpunk design and they are pretty comfy. A small issue I have is that the distress effect around the midsole of the pair I received does not look like what was advertised. Mine look like someone took a nearly empty Sharpie and did a half-assed dash line around the midsole. Not a huge deal, I get they're supposed to look worn-in. My real concern is that the midsole has started to separate from the upper after only 5 months of light wear and I haven't even skated in these yet. Like I said, small complaints. I would buy these shoes again in a heartbeat. Sexy shoe at a great price.
Great shoes over all, blew out stitching quite fast but nothing super glue can’t fix. Has great flick and amazing board feel
The perfect cross between a Vans sk8 hi and a Converse Chuck Taylor, yet somehow it’s a totally unique silhouette and 10x more comfortable.
Just a great pair of skate shoes at a great price. You can't compete with a team with a deathwish.
I got these on sale for 40 bucks shipped last summer. They are very high quality, no stitches loose, no sole separation, and are easy to clean. They fit true to size. They are comfortable and look awesome. They are even more durable than my vans sk8 hi. I clean them with a tooth brush and some armorall. Sounds weird but it works. They also hold up to the elements like snow etc. What a great pair of shoes.
I've had numerous pairs of indicators but they were all low top, these high tops are even better! More ankle support and they definitely have style
My son loves it! Fast shipping! Will be ordering more.
Sick collabo! I had to have a pair. Keep it up.
Great Shoes, especially if you like them on the thin side. The vertical grooves and rubber toe cap provide extra life if you do a lot of flip tricks. I typically just do straight airs, 180’s, and simple grinds on rails and boxes, and found the place where the suede gets worn through to be 1-2 inches back from where the rubber stops and between the third and fourth lace eyelet from the top. Right away, I thought the tongues were too thin, but the real issue is the insole is too thin. It got really compressed and my foot was riding on the waffle texture of the soul. The insoles are not made to come out. Another issue I came across is the sewn in rubber/plastic that gives the heel shape got really brittle when the temperatures approached freezing and I continued to skate. On the back foot shoe, that plastic broke apart and ripped through on the inside, so I pulled out the pieces from the inside tear. The shoe did not have enough support after that and it was so stretched in that back heel part that it caused my heel to be offset towards the inside. When my foot slipped off the tail on a missed air landing, it shifted in the shoe in that exact area and my heel got super bruised. If you get these, I recommend adding gel insoles or those cheaper ones that you cut to fit right after you break them in a little, and put them away when the frost nears. They are wide, so don’t follow the pattern if you trim insoles; just trim off from the back heel.
Great high tops! Been impressed with the durability of material, sole, and laces. Some causal skating, mostly used for mountain biking, DECENT pedal grip! The sole stiffness is right between a waffle and a stealth...perfect, IMO. The rubber above the toes is and helpful. Dislike that the insole does not come out. 100% the high tops I will continue to buy
These are really good shoes to skate in but don't take impact too well. Still really good shoes
coped 2 pairs, great shoe
These shoes look and feel great and I got them on sale. Couldn't be happier, seems like they can really take a beating. Plus, they're sexy.
soles wear out quick... and the soles are pretty uncomfortable, not unlike chucks.. but i like the feel of the leather and the toe cap... basically they are great except for the soles
Best shoes ever! Seriously have lasted me forever, perfect ankle support. Kickflips take a minute to get used to but the board feel is on point
These shoes are pretty good.
At first I was worried because the break in period was rough. But once they got broken in they’re super comfortable and awesome to skate in, too.
These aren’t the only skate shoes that I’ve had this happen, but it’s a bummer; the rubber toe cap is super durable but the sole of the shoe is already blowing out after just three weeks.
If you’re going to add rubber to make the shoe durable, the whole shoe needs to be durable or else it’s pointless.
I give 4 stars. They’re pretty decent shoes that I would probably skate again if I found them on sale, but the break in period was bad and I wish the sole lasted as long as the upper.
Functionality aside, they look cool and I get lots of people asking what kind of shoes I have on and that’s always cool.
Kick ass as always! I wish the ToyMachine x emerica high tops came out before I ordered these but I want both anyway.
My son loved the shoe and they were at an affordable price.
So rad. Got these and the wino g6 version of the deathwish collab for 80 bucks. Thanks America for this rad sale
